All Over the Diocese People are Helping Haiti

Parishes and schools often pick special mission projects to focus on. In the Diocese of Rockford, many have opted to help in Haiti. Two of the best known and best supported groups in the diocese are Hope for Haitians and The Haitian Project. Each is planning a Sept. 6 fundraiser in Rockford. “A Night in the Tropics” with Hope for Haitians helps provide better housing and more, while the “Big Get-Together” with The Haitian Project supports Louverture Cleary School in Port-au-Prince. There’s plenty of need for everyone to help Haiti.
