St. Patrick Parish in Yorkville, IL is seeking a part-time (15-20 hours/week) Director of Music for our growing parish. Responsibilities include coordination of various choirs and and/or leading music for weekend Masses. The ideal candidate will be a committed disciple of Jesus Christ. Candidate must be a self-starter and faithful to the teachings of the Magisterium of the Catholic Church. Background in parish music ministry preferred as well as knowledge of Catholic liturgical tradition. Must have ability to implement diverse musical styles into Mass such as Gregorian chant, traditional hymns, as well as praise and worship music.
