Mary Bielski - Keynote Speaker
Involved in ministry for more than 15 years, Mary has spoken to over 100,000 teens and young adults around the nation at high school and college retreats and conferences, including Steubenville Youth Conferences, Life Teen Inspiration, LA Congress, NCCC, and parish and diocesan rallies. Mary talks on a variety of topics including Conversion, Prayer, Sacraments, Social Justice, Chastity and Theology of the Body. Using funny stories and engaging analogies, Mary draws her audience to the beauty of our Catholic faith, a deeper love for Christ, the Eucharist, and the call to holiness.
Fr. Keith Romke - Director of Vocations for the Diocese of Rockford
Father Romke was ordained a priest in May of 2011. Since then he has served at Holy Cross parish in Batavia and St. Bridget Parish in Loves Park along with serving as the Diocesan Director of Vocations. His favorite thing to do is to share his love of Christ with others so that they too can be transformed and experience the joy and peace that can only come from God. He also loves the Blackhawks, Bulls, Bears, and Cubs, but most of all he deeply loves St. Catherine of Siena so if you try to refute the fact that she is the greatest saint after Mary, Joseph, and the Apostles, prepare yourself for a big debate!
Deacon Kyle Manno - Emcee
Deacon Kyle attended Christ the Teacher University Parish – the Newman Center at Northern Illinois University. During college, he studied Music Education with plans on becoming a high school music teacher. As he continued through his college career, he focused on deepening his faith. After finishing college, he decided to attend the seminary and start his journey to the priesthood. Deacon Kyle will be ordained to the priesthood, June 4, 2016 at the Cathedral of St. Peter. He is also fluent in both Spanish and Sign Language.
