“Joan Chittister: Her Story, My Story, Our Story”

Actress Teri Bays will perform this one-woman play which tells the story of Sister Joan Chittister’s life and work through scenes, dialogues and actual letters, as well as portions of Sister Joan’s books and speeches. Sister Joan, a Benedictine Sister of Erie, is an internationally renowned author and outspoken advocate of justice, peace and equality for women. Bays will perform at Sinsinawa Mound from 6;30-8 p.m. on Monday, May 21. In the show, Bays portrays two women to tell the story of all women. Bays is a singer, writer, actress and liturgist. The show runs 85 minutes without an intermission. Free will offering will be accepted.
